You can also book tickets in person from Visit Manchester at Manchester Visitor Information Centre, Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester M1 1RG.

Booking & transaction fees
All bookings are subject to a transaction fee, which is set by the vendor.

Quaytickets does not charge a per-ticket fee when booking online, by phone on 0843 208 1844 or in person at Visit Manchester. However, please note that such fees may apply when booking with other authorised ticket agents.

Some events may be subject to per-customer ticket limits. Please check individual show pages for details.

MIF offers discounts to seniors (60+), children (under-16s), full-time students, jobseekers and disabled people. Discounted tickets are strictly limited and subject to availability.

Access Information
For details of access provisions, please see here.

Age restrictions
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Sending, collecting & lost tickets
Paper tickets for reserved seated events will be posted. E-tickets will be emailed at the time of booking. General admission event tickets may not be sent until two weeks in advance.

Tickets purchased within ten days of any event must be collected on the day from the venue box office near the entrance, by presenting the booking confirmation and the card used to pay.

If you haven’t received your tickets before the event, or if you’ve lost your tickets, please contact the vendor directly.

Refunds & exchanges
All MIF tickets are sold through Quaytickets, our official ticketing partner, and through other approved agents. Please read each agent’s terms and conditions before purchase. Tickets booked directly from venues or other agents are strictly non-refundable. We do not recommend purchasing tickets from unauthorised ticket agents.

Quaytickets will try to facilitate ticket exchanges between MIF performances if tickets are available. If you’re unable to attend an event due to extenuating circumstances, email boxoffice@mif.co.uk. We will deal with refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Ticket reselling
At MIF, we believe that all customers should be given an equal opportunity to buy tickets at face value, and we aim to stop the practice of reselling. Any tickets bought to be resold, whether at face value or at higher prices, will be immediately cancelled. Anyone found purchasing tickets for the purposes of resale will be refused tickets and entry for all other MIF events. All our events will have security checks, and you may be asked to provide proof of purchase from an authorised ticket agent.

Terms & conditions

  • Tickets cannot be exchanged nor money refunded.
  • Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
