Inspired by the Festival’s themes of innovation and urgent stories of our time, panelists from the worlds of art and science will join together to question the present and try to predict the future.

What will the human body be like in 50 years’ time? What are the urgent challenges facing medical scientists today and what can the fusion of medicine and technology accomplish in the future? What are the latest and most promising advancements? Join a panel of the brightest medical minds to discuss what might be the future for the body. Speakers include Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, Vice President for Research at the University of Manchester, and Professor Raymond Tallis, Writer and Emeritus Professor of Geriatric Medicine, University of Manchester.
