Slavery In Our Time Symposium

As part of Manchester International Festival’s commitment to addressing urgent issues of our time, we are launching a three-year programme of artistic work exploring the issues around contemporary slavery. We will work with artists, partners and groups in schools and communities to learn about and create artistic responses to the issues of modern slavery. Some of these projects will lead to new commissions in the 2009 Festival.
