Restlessly inventive and endlessly ambitious, Holly Herndon is one of the most exciting electronic musicians working today. The release of Platform, her acclaimed second album, was followed last year by a European tour with Radiohead. True to form, Herndon is already looking forward, and will be performing new material for MIF17 at her biggest Manchester headline show to date. From the DJ booth, Dark Matter curator Mary Anne Hobbs opens the evening.
Curated by Mary Anne Hobbs for MIF17, Dark Matter is eight immersive shows from pioneering national, international and Manchester-based musicians.
Commissioned and produced by Manchester International Festival.
