The Haxan Cloak

Co-producing Björk’s Vulnicura, providing the soundtrack for True Detective… Since the release of his atmospheric epic Excavation in 2013, Bobby Krlic – aka The Haxan Cloak – has been much in demand around the world. He’s now living in Los Angeles, but the Yorkshire native returned to the UK to premiere a wealth of new material exclusively for MIF17. Support came from Manchester’s very own Herron, co-founder of the city’s meandyou club night and label – and also a member, alongside Joy Orbison, of the tremendous CO/R.

Curated by Mary Anne Hobbs for MIF17, Dark Matter was eight immersive shows from pioneering national, international and Manchester-based musicians.
