Manchester International Festival (MIF) was established in 2005, and we staged our first Festival two years later. On these pages, you can learn about our development from upstart enterprise to one of the world’s most dynamic and respected arts festivals.


Our sixth Festival was our biggest to date, 18 extraordinary days of performances and exhibitions presented in landmark locations, hidden spaces and a host of other venues across Greater Manchester.
