VICE Census Live

A unique live show created and hosted by VICE: a living, breathing UK census that counts young people, their politics, subcultures and ideals. The show featured discussions, comedy and documentary screenings, with live contributions from Joel Golby, VICE’s pedant-in-chief and the creator of Tiny Little Love StoriesAlfie Brown and Fern Brady, stars of VICELAND’S new stand-up show Brexit Stage Left; Zing Tsjeng, the Editor of Broadly, a regular contributor to Women’s Hour and a nominee for the Pride Power List talking to activist Saffiyah Khan. The session also included a panel discussion about the huge youth turnout at the election with MPs, campaigners, academics and Rants N Bants, the social media sensation, and host of VICE’s general election show Chat Shit Get Elected;  plus there was a very special performance by the stars of Blackpool Grime Media.

VICE Census Live was part of Interdependence: We Need to Talk, six themed sessions of provocative conversation and new ideas staged every Saturday during MIF17.
