We’re delighted that our MIF x WHP Special Edition series has been voted as ‘Best Club Night’ in the Manchester Evening News’ ‘City Life Awards’. MIF & WHP joined forces in October following the success of one of MIF15’s highlights, 10 x 10, for a series of unique nights in Manchester’s immense and atmospheric Mayfield, a former railway station in Manchester.

The collaboration between MIF and WHP, curated with BBC Radio 6 Music’s Mary Anne Hobbs, Special Edition brought an immense musical offering with Bonobo’s international Outlier series, Manchester’s very own Grime King of the North, Bugzy Malone and the mighty Bicep, with visuals from lighting designer Stuart Bailes.

Special Edition was part of a series of pre-Factory events, paving the way for the opening of The Factory, a new major arts space being developed in the heart of the city that will be operated by MIF.
