MIF hosts regular drop-in sessions on Zoom where artists and creatives can come together to share experiences and ideas during lockdown. The drop-ins are free, and all artists and creatives are welcome.

For our first Drop-in of 2021, we’re delighted to be joined by Robin McNicholas, Co-Founder and Creative Director of award-winning experiential art collective Marshmallow Laser Feast.

Collaborating with artists, engineers and scientists to build bespoke software and hardware systems to realise their visions, Marshmallow Laser Feast works at the intersection of science, art and technology; employs a wealth of creative disciplines, from installation to kinetic sculpture and from film to live performance; and invites participants to navigate with a sensory perception beyond their daily experience. Stop by and say hi!

How to join

You can book a place in an Artist Drop-in conversation through the Book now button on the right – they’re absolutely free and not subject to any additional fees. All you need is an internet connection and an account with the online videoconferencing service Zoom: you can sign up for free at their website. If you have any questions or need any support with Zoom, please email and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
