MIF hosts monthly drop-in sessions on Zoom where artists and creatives discuss experiences and ideas during lockdown. The drop-ins are free and everyone’s welcome.

May’s guest in the Zoom room is the brilliant Sue Buckmaster, Artistic Director of Theatre-Rites and the director of The Global Playground at MIF21 this summer. A field leader in the creation of experimental theatre for children, Theatre-Rites has been widely acclaimed nationally and internationally for works that both stir the imagination and stimulate thought. Sue has directed more than 20 productions for Theatre-Rites since 1996, including The Welcoming Party at MIF17, and has also worked widely with companies such as the National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, the Young Vic, Sadler’s Wells and Complicité.
