For MIF19’s opening event on Thursday 4 July, Yoko Ono is inviting the people of Manchester to gather together in Cathedral Gardens and send a message of peace to the world – and we need you to make a bell and join our people’s orchestra on the night.

We’re running a series of free workshops at which you can create your own unique handcrafted ceramic bell to ring at BELLS FOR PEACE. Held at The Old Bank (NOMA) near Manchester Victoria station, the workshops are run by MIF in collaboration with Standard Practice, the design studio behind Night on the Tiles and Take a Pew.

All workshops will be hosted by a professional potter and light refreshments will be provided. The workshops are free – but capacity is strictly limited and booking is essential.

Please email bellsforpeace@mif.co.uk for any access enquiries.
