Come with us on an extraordinary journey into the eye of the storm. Under the shadow of gathering clouds at dusk, lit by the glimmer of fireflies, the natural world is in peril. Can you help Puck to rebuild the forest before dawn?
Theatre, music and ground–breaking technology combine in Dream, an exhilarating glimpse into the future of live performance. Created by the Royal Shakespeare Company in collaboration with Marshmallow Laser Feast, Philharmonia Orchestra and MIF, it’s the culmination of a major project exploring how the audiences of tomorrow will experience live performance – and tickets are now available for its world premiere in March.
Dream uses real-time motion-capture technology to take you into the magical world of a midsummer forest – online but entirely live, with performers reacting and interacting with the online audience and a dynamic soundtrack adapting to the narrative in real time. With an Audience Plus ticket (£10), you’ll take on the role of a firefly in the performance, influencing what happens through your mouse, trackpad or touchscreen. But if you’d rather just watch, simply book a regular Audience ticket (free, booking advised), sit back and enjoy the show.
Dream runs from Friday 12 to Saturday 20 March. Tickets are strictly limited – book yours now through dream.online.
