Eclipse

Malian musical superstars Amadou Bagayoko and Mariam Doumbia met while playing in the Eclipse Orchestra of the Institute for the Young Blind in Bamako, Mali. A married couple since 1980, the duo has won fans all over the world with their magical fusion of pop, blues and Malian music. Telling the story of Amadou & Mariam’s life and work together, Eclipse featured songs from across their career – and was staged in total darkness, making for an unforgettable sensory experience.
