Down with fast fashion! Up with recycling! It’s time to look beyond disposable duds and embrace sustainable style with the Rebels of Extinction – the second in MIF’s new series of Festival in My House… and Yours, streaming live on 28 January.

An artist collective who met during the last lockdown through MIF Matchmakers, the Rebels of Extinction have come together to interrogate consumerism, consumption, fast fashion and wardrobe waste – and with nearly 60% of all clothing worldwide sent for landfill or incineration within a year of its production, these are urgent concerns that affect us all.

So join us for this makeover show with a difference, as the Rebels show you how to re-educate, repurpose and reshape your wardrobe – and reflect on the true cost of fashion. Share images, thoughts and stories behind your favourite garments via #rebelsofextinction – and let’s find a new look for a new year…
